Our Sexual Health Service provides care across the county including screening, advice, treatment and support for a wide range of sexual health needs. The service now operates a telephone triage system to help ensure people get directed to the right point of care for their needs. Ay patients wishing to contact the sexual health service must now do so via the telephone booking line. The service can offer further help through other agencies such as Gloucestershire Rape Crisis Centre, Victim Support, Domestic Abuse Support & Advocacy, Gloucestershire Central Allocation and Referral Point (Novas Scarman Group) and A & E Departments.

From 1st April 2016, victims of recent sexual violence can be referred for counselling support.
The purpose of the counselling service is to provide brief therapeutic intervention (six sessions), specifically for people who have been sexually assaulted within the last 12 months. It is provided at Hope House on the Gloucester Royal Hospital site and at Milsom Street Sexual Health Clinic in Cheltenham.
The service is unable to offer counselling if the assault occurred over 12 months previously.
Forensic services, Independent Sexual Violence Advisers (ISVA) and pre and post-trial counselling continue to be provided in the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).
