Whilst there is no medical treatment for Dry AMD, social care can do an assessment for any support which may be required or a patient can be referred to the low vision service at Gloucestershire Hospital Foundation Trust.

Voluntary sector organisations can provide emotional or practical support such as via RNIB (0303 123 9999 Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5.30pm) and Macular Society (01264 350 551) or locally Insight or Forest Sensory Services
